Conference Booth Design
The Apartmentalize Conference in Las Vegas is the largest event for the apartment housing industry in the country, attracting over 12,000 professionals. For this event, the booth set up included a large backdrop and a podium, both needing to showcase branding. Since Blink and Envoy would be sharing the booth, the design needed to incorporate and balance both companies' branding effectively.
Design Objective
Since the design required dual branding, my challenge was to creatively showcase each brand while maintaining a cohesive design. After exploring various graphic options, I found the perfect techy illustration that was modern, sleek, and bold. This became my starting point.
To highlight both brands, I decided to split the canvas using the lightning bolt in the illustration as a guide. This jagged path created a dynamic and exciting energy. I gave half the canvas a blue background to align with Envoy’s branding and the other half black to match Blink’s. The illustration tied both sides together seamlessly.
I chose to center the headline copy across the middle, with "electrifying" in bold to reinforce the electric visuals. This effectively commanded attention and tied both sides together As a final touch, I added a gradient clipping mask behind the headline, which faded the illustration in that area, allowing the text to stand out clearly without background distractions.
For the podium design, I opted for a plain black background with a simple Blink logo, reflecting Blink as the parent company. This minimalist approach ensured the podium would not distract from the dynamic backdrop.
